Your Part in Our Mission:

In this role, reporting into the CGO you’ll lead the App Store/Google Play Optimization (ASO) practice to grow natural search traffic to app stores and Tinybeans website.

You will collaborate with internal Marketing, Product, Engineering, on best practices, lead and assist in the execution of ASO initiatives on the app store. You will also be responsible for owning the technical and content roadmap; auditing and analyzing performance, finding root causes, and identifying areas of opportunities.

This is a high impact position in the marketing organization and will lead the team responsible for analyzing real-time results to enable faster optimization and accelerate growth of the Tinybeans app, web and community.

What You’ll Be Doing…

  • Own the execution including technical, content and link audits and making strategic decisions that are tied to all ASO related tasks and deliverables

  • Will work closely with the Head of Content, Project Managers and develop strategies that meet and exceed business objectives

  • Manage on-page optimizations (metadata, keyword usage, internal linking, etc.)

  • Construct and maintain prioritized backlogs and requirements for ASO to improve natural search traffic

  • Audit and analyze ASO performance issues, find root causes, and experiment with solutions to improve performance at scale.

  • Manage monthly ASO reporting (keyword rankings, traffic, conversion data)

  • Identify new opportunities and recommendations for improving organic search rankings, traffic, and conversions

  • Promote and encourage ASO best practices among internal teams

  • Research and stay up-to-date on new ideas, trends, and technologies within the ASO space to educate internal teams

Requirements

You must have…

  • At least 3-5 years of]ASO/ASA experience.

  • Experience in managing and handling creative assets & metadata copies for platforms, as well as for A/B testing

  • Ability to communicate results using data

  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in an autonomous environment, proactive and persistent

  • Proven track record of executing ASO/ASA  initiatives

  • Work closely with content and design team on creating high-quality content that can drive organic growth, and support existing marketing efforts

  • Work seamlessly with members of the marketing team to develop integrated cross-channel digital approaches and opportunities

  • Demonstrate knowledge of search engine ranking factors and a passion for staying current on ASO/ASA trends

  • Ability to drive ASO day-to-day operations and report on progress against targeted goals

  • Advance experience with ASO and analytics tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, AppAnnie, Appsflyer(and similar tools)

  • Demonstrated understanding of technical ASO skills, including the ability to evaluate HTML, CSS and JavaScript

  • Background in WordPress and planning content calendars

  • Strong editorial, branding and written communication skills

  • Ability to analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope technical requirements

  • Detail oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast paced, results-driven environment

Salary Range for this position…

  • Minimum of $65,000 to $70k. Maximum annual per year

  • Salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with position; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

  • Ranges vary depending on location and local/state/federal compliance requirements in the United States and Canada.
