Your Part in Our Mission:

As the Head of Sales, you will lead a small but ambitious Ad Sales team (Sellers, Ops, Creative), and be responsible for the Company’s commercial revenue. Reporting to the CEO, this strategic and hands-on Player/Coach role requires you to define, lead and execute the Sales Strategy, build on existing partnerships with advertisers, and coach, mentor and develop a high-performance team that delivers on goal.

Your strong client-side and agency relationships, consultative approach, and deep understanding of digital advertising (branded content, search, programmatic, OTT/video, brand building, display) will make you a strategic partner to brands. You'll sell a broad range of creative solutions to meet their goals and build long-term value and relationships over the year.

What You’ll Be Doing…

  • Develop and execute an ad sales strategy for the Company, focusing on key existing and potential new categories based on the Tinybeans audience, taking a ‘hands-on’ approach as needed.

  • Achieve individual and team quarterly and annual revenue goals, ensuring year-over-year growth by securing new business and renewing existing accounts with KPI-driven campaigns.

  • Increase the volume of $100k+ proposals to drive higher revenue growth, targeting high-value clients with insight- or idea-led pitches.

  • Push the creativity and innovation of sales pitches and packages, leveraging our platforms and assets to deliver compelling, fresh, on-brand solutions for clients

  • Provide counsel, coaching, and guidance to sellers through regular 1:1 meetings and weekly team meetings to keep them motivated and accountable for their goals.

  • Deliver short-term results while building a scalable business for the future, prioritizing advertiser satisfaction to ensure renewals and lasting partnerships.

  • Stay current on industry trends and act as an advocate for the parent audience we serve, collaborating with the CEO to amplify our voice in the industry.

  • Support CEO with Board Reports and meetings, Quarterly ASX Market Announcements and other internal and external reporting requirements

  • Create revenue opportunities across Display and Programmatic channels, confidently handling negotiations with brands, trading desks, and agency planning and buying teams.

  • Maintain an individual and team sales pipeline of at least 2x revenue goals by consistently winning proposal consideration from new and existing clients.

  • Advise on ad-tech/tools, ad-products, measurement or data solutions required and collaborate with Product Team for implementation

  • Manage operational foundation of Ad Sales business, including Revenue Ops, Yield Management and Sales Ops; plus manage (with support of AdOps) relationships with ad-tech partners, including Freestar, GAM, etc.

Job requirements

  • 8+ years of owning key accounts and exceeding quota attainment

  • 3-5 years experience leading a winning team to meet goals and being a player coach

  • Industry and agency relationships across a number of categories, ideally CPG, Food & Beverage, Retail, Tech, Travel,

  • Passion to serve the parenting category and be an industry thought leader in the space

  • The ability to write your own proposals, build decks, and get into the nitty gritty of creating a media plan

  • Competent in Excel, .PPT, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and a true self-starter who knows how to build a business confidently and autonomously, with the support of Leadership

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent business experience

Location & Hours

  • Sales team is all located in US, with a concentration on the East Coast

  • CEO is based in Sydney, AU so some overlapping hours after 5pm ET will be required and hours can be flexed accordingly
