Your Part in Our Mission:

Is your TikTok feed the first place you go in the morning? Do you get lost in an Instagram rabbit hole for hours? Do you have social media experience, preferably in the parenting and women’s lifestyle space? Then we want you to join our team! Tinybeans is growing, and we need a results-focused social media guru who knows how to reach fans on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok.
The ideal candidate will be a creator with a strong social media background, editorial experience, and an intuitive sense of what performs in the parenting space. You know how to engage audiences with authentic, humorous content. You know the messages parents need to hear to remind them they’re not alone. You know what makes a meme viral and how to spot it. And most importantly, you love that you know all of this.
Creation is only one part of the social media results puzzle, so you are comfortable wearing multiple hats; content production, social strategist, and platform manager. You are a self-starter who understands social user behavior changes constantly and you are flexible enough to change with it. This position reports to Tinybeans’ Head of Audience Development & can be done from anywhere in the United States.
You will …


  • Manage Tinybeans’ social media presence across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
  • Content Creation and Publishing: Write/produce/package a high volume of timely and trending static, dynamic and video content for distribution across social, email and other platforms
  • Schedule and craft attention grabbing, on-brand copy for use across social platforms
  • Track breaking and trending parenting news using various tools and resources
  • Grow social engagement and referral traffic
  • Use data, including social listening, to help drive strategy and testing plans across content creation and social to improve performance and achieve objectives
  • Deliver key insights on social and content performance
  • Stay abreast of emerging social platforms, technologies and best practices
  • Community management across social platforms including, but not limited to, responding to inquiries and proactive reach out

You are...

  • Well-versed with the social media tools of the trade including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok. You understand the lingo, the mysterious algorithms that drive them, and how features like Stories and Reels factor into a smart social media strategy. You can master scheduling tools like Loom, dive into in-channel analytics, and are well-versed in platform-provided insights. You can create static, dynamic and video content using social media tools like Canva.
  • You not only have an eye for good writing, but you can put thoughts into words better than anyone you know. You don't get stuck in a single style, and can alter your tone from Instagram to LinkedIn on a dime, crafting the messaging for each channel's unique audience and harnessing the power of the CTA to drive business results.
  • You are an innovator who isn’t content with just sticking to “best practices.” You’re always developing and open to new ideas, and you want to define your own set of best practices that make sense for the company—and how they’re implemented.
  • You’re a highly organized problem-solver with the ability to multitask and re-prioritize your work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • You’re okay with things shifting as new information is available, and you can plan as you go. You don't mind managing multiple projects, and have the ability to juggle a few things at once.
  • You love to analyze and solve problems. You know how to research, analyze, synthesize, recommend and implement creative and innovative solutions. And you love to learn from the process by conducting post-project retrospectives to quantify issues and opportunities that lead to recommendations for new projects and updated processes.
  • You're an outstanding communicator who knows how to inspire and be heard. You know the importance of communication, especially when to speak up and when to listen. You aren’t afraid to ask questions and get clarity when you need it, and you’re quick to respond when someone needs your help.
  • You’re a team-oriented people person who earns and gives respect so that you can collaborate effectively across the organization.

Requirements

You must have…

  • Experience in the parenting or women’s lifestyle media space.

  • 3+ years of experience in social media, influencers and content creation

  • The ability to create content with humor and empathy to reach our target audience

  • Proven track record of driving business results with social media and influencers

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent business experience

  • A deep understanding of social media trends, algorithms and best practices

  • Extremely detail oriented, demonstrated copy-editing/writing skills and sense of brand voice

  • Experience with social media management and reporting tools and using data to drive decisions and strategy

  • Comfortable synthesizing data and using analytics software such as Google Analytics, Tableau and platform-specific reporting consoles.

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and collaborating with a remote team. Ability to prioritize effectively to manage day-to-day responsibilities and projects to a high standard of quality.
